I feel a little like I built the great wall of China this afternoon. But only a little. Jay and I put up a fence around the pumpkin patch. If it doesn’t keep whatever is attacking the patch at bay I will electrify it. That is all I have to say on the subject. Oh, and we replanted the empty hills, removed the weird wire traps all over the place, and tidied up a little bit…

You might need a couple more posts between the ones you have up to make it sturdy enough to keep the pest away….keep an eye on it.

I totally agree! We were racing against the weather, and didn’t get more stakes in. I think that I will add an extra between each section. Hopefully that will do it. No holes in the hills today though!!!

We are having the same battle…my son will never see the halloween pumpkins grow if I cant get all the creatures to get the hell away! Sorry, just frustrated…..plus we need some rain!
